Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager assists in maintaining the hotel’s physical structure, ensuring it remains in excellent condition. Key duties include carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical/mechanical repairs, pool/spa maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, guest service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures


• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities


• Plan and schedule repair and renovation projects


• Manage maintenance budget and expenses


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a maintenance management role


• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment


• Proficiency in basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)


• Excellent leadership and communication skills


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively


• Relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus


• Pool Operator Certification (CPO) preferred but not required
