Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Carlisle, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate Range: $24.50 - $27.50/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 6:00am-3:00pm EST

*Must be willing to travel as needed to locations (ex. Sinking Springs, PA) for maintenance as needed.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of systems and structures to help keep our facility running smoothly. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a knack for fixing things, we want to hear from you.

Essential Functions and Basic Job Duties:

• PIT mechanic (forklift and manlift/cherry picker) for Carlisle and Sinking Spring facilities
• HVAC preventative maintenance and basic repairs
• Perform physical PIT equipment inspections daily
• Make repairs in the facility to include painting, drywall, basic plumbing, racking, etc.
• Seasonal groundskeeping duties such as mowing grass, weed eating, general landscaping, snow removal, etc.
• Use of company truck to travel between facilities
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification: Requires a valid driver's license
• Training: Minimum one month on the job training required
• Experience: Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred

• Must have strong verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
