Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance such as snow removal, trash removal, emergency lighting tests, etc.
• Performs electrical repairs and adjustments such as the wiring up and connecting of machine tools and equipment
• Dismantle machine tools or their sub-assemblies to repair defective parts; repairs machines as needed; reassembles and tests machinery after repair
• Initiate requisitions to order parts and supplies for maintenance and repair activities

Qualifications:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Customer service-oriented mindset
