Maintenance Mechanic

Westaff Hiring 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for Production Company in Middletown, CT!

Full-Time | 3:30 PM – Midnight (Training on 1st Shift)

Pay: $27–$31/hr DOE

This position supports daily production operations by troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a background in industrial maintenance will thrive here.

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:

• English proficiency required


• Bilingual candidates encouraged (no preference on secondary language; our team speaks 15+ languages)

Maintenance Mechanic Preferred Experience:

• Welding, fabrication, high-voltage systems


• PLC programming and automation familiarity


• Conveyor belt maintenance and equipment failure diagnostics


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics


• Continuing education through FIT or FPSA (accepted in lieu of a degree)


• Mechanical or Electrical certificates from Lincoln Tech, Asnuntuck, or similar programs
