Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F or alternate shifts to accommodate production. Responsibilities
- Perform all required electrical/mechanical troubleshooting on Company equipment, obtain necessary replacement parts, and perform required repairs.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine to changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straightedges.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.
- Assigned responsibility for LOTOTO and works with employees during such LOTOTO.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance on equipment following OEM guidelines and timeline
- Provides weekly percent compliance of all major production equipment to the PM and OM
- Provides support for all overhead cranes and works with vendor for troubleshooting and scheduled PM/inspections.
- Works with Vendor on mobile equipment repairs and internal PM requirements
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a mechanical/maintenance-related field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical maintenance.
- Must have the ability to rotate shifts on occasion.
