Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks while also supporting production work to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production work to support operational goals and meet deadlines.


• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.


• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to quickly restore production functionality.


• Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.


• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and production activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a production environment.


• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform production work alongside maintenance tasks.


• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery efficiently.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and production.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or related field preferred.
