Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities Maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION

Monday -Friday 9AM-5:30PM

POSITION DEMANDS:
Basic Computer skills required including Microsoft Windows
Basic math skills
Forklift and Areal Lift Certified
Basic reading and writing skills
Qualified to perform duties to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
Have basic understanding of single/three phase and control wiring.
Ability to use common hand tools safely
Ability to use tape measures
Ability to understand, follow and complete tasks using SOP's


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide mechanical support in operational areas when required
Perform various building maintenance duties
Perform preventative maintenance


• Clean and Rebuild Pumps
Perform necessary jobs per work orders
Communicate equipment, production, and safety issues in a clear and concise manner to supervisor
Perform monthly safety inspections
Perform plantwide cleaning and painting
Maintain general housekeeping duties of work area
Perform independently with minimal supervision oversight
