Maintenance Mechanic First Shift

Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for our production facility located in Pittsfield, MA. This person will be responsible primarily performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, building mechanical systems, building exterior and grounds as required.

The hours for this position are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Requirements:

• A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and safe driving record are required


• Will be required to take and pass the requirements for an MA Class 1-D hoist license (Forklift )


• Must have good mechanical ability and willingness to learn to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems as they arise.

 Other duties would include filter changes, trash and recycling and planned projects . Must work well as a team and alone
