Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright

Job description

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school Diploma or equivalent. High mechanical comprehension. Previous welding and/or machining experience is a plus.

WAGE CATEGORY: Non-Exempt

DUTIES:

Performs a variety of maintenance duties including carpentry, painting, basic equipment and facility repairs, and simple electrical work.

Adjusts, maintains, repairs, and makes parts for general plant and production machinery.

Duties entail knowledge of electro-mechanical applications, motors, engines, pumps, vacuum and pneumatic systems, heating, ventilation, piping & plumbing, carpentry, and electrical circuitry.

Maintains the upkeep of the grounds and facility as needed.

Works in various areas/departments as needed.

Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area.

Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with S.O.P.'s, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties.

Follow all Environmental and OSHA requirements. Attend in-house training sessions.
