Maintenance Operations Coordinator

Job Overview:
As the M2P Coordinator, you will oversee the operational aspects of the M2P department by supervising site supervisors and supporting tasks to meet contract requirements. You'll play a critical role in leading M2P operations, collaborating closely with BHS Management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across M2P sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Supervision

   • Lead and support M2P site supervisors, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and coaching for continuous improvement.
   • Oversee staff training, both on- and off-site, ensuring each supervisor is aligned with BHS guidelines.

2. Budget & Cost Management

   • Assist in setting and achieving budgetary goals for each M2P location.
   • Coordinate efforts to minimize costs across sites, ensuring verified operational data, such as parts usage, is accurate.

3. Communication & Site Support

   • Maintain regular contact with M2P sites, including daily and weekly reports from supervisors, monthly updates with customer leaders, and on-site visits.
   • Act as a primary resource for problem-solving and troubleshooting, working with site supervisors and customers to resolve issues effectively.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

   • Collaborate with BHS departments to support M2P site needs, providing guidance on service support and parts usage.
   • Participate in cross-functional activities and continuous improvement projects, working toward optimal manpower and parts utilization.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical or technical fields.
• Minimum 4 years in the corrugating industry, including 2+ years in BHS Corrugator maintenance.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in project management and reporting tools.
• Experience managing maintenance and machinery improvement projects.
• Professional demeanor with a high customer service orientation.
• Ability to work physically in diverse environments, lifting and maneuvering objects up to 30 pounds, with comfort in climbing and navigating equipment.
