Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old, demonstrating the maturity and accountability required for independent decision-making.
Must successfully pass a background check, demonstrating integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment..
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness in maintaining operational excellence.
Proven ability to assess and solve maintenance challenges, with 1+ year of experience in maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping (or equivalent technical skills).
High school diploma or GED required (Technical training, certifications, or specialized skills preferred).
Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry, with a focus on preventative maintenance and problem resolution.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring that small problems don’t become big setbacks.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team, reinforcing a culture of ownership and accountability.
Must be reliable, proactive, and adaptable, taking initiative to anticipate needs, address inefficiencies, and maintain safe, functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Grounds & Lawn Care
Ensure proper care of lawns, trees, and landscaping to maintain a professional and safe environment
Operate riding lawnmowers and weed trimmers efficiently and safely
Apply weed prevention measures, including manual removal and spraying as needed
2. Seasonal Maintenance & Safety
Winter snow removal using a plow, snowblower, or shovel to maintain safe walkways and driveways
Identify potential hazards and take corrective action before they become safety risks
3. Facility Repairs & Preventative Maintenance
Perform light maintenance and repairs, including drywall repair and painting
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for assigned tasks
Identify and report facility issues requiring professional repair
4. Vendor Coordination & Task Management
Obtain quotes and coordinate with vendors for external maintenance projects
Track and document maintenance tasks for accountability and efficiency
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
