Cotton Images is a family-owned screen printing, embroidery, and garment-dye manufacturing company with over 35 years in business. From our 39,000 sq ft facility in Doral, a team of 130 produces for major brands including Hard Rock, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC, and the American Red Cross. When equipment runs, production delivers. That’s where you come in.
THE ROLE
You’ll manage the flow of maintenance work across our facility using our computerized maintenance management system (already fully configured with 60+ assets, preventive maintenance schedules, and workflows). Your days will be spent at a computer—creating and assigning work orders, ordering parts, tracking job completion, coordinating schedules with production, and generating reports for leadership. You’ll work alongside our maintenance technicians and production team to keep equipment running and orders shipping on time. This is a family-owned company. We value people who take ownership of their work, solve problems without being asked, and pitch in where it makes sense. Your primary responsibility is maintenance coordination, but you’ll be part of a team where flexibility and initiative matter.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Create, assign, and track maintenance work orders from request through completion
Manage the preventive maintenance schedule to minimize unplanned downtime
Order parts, track deliveries, and maintain critical spare parts inventory
Coordinate maintenance timing with production to avoid schedule conflicts
Maintain accurate records and data quality in the maintenance system
Generate reports and KPIs for ownership on equipment status, costs, and trends
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outside service when needed
Identify patterns in equipment failures and recommend preventive solutions
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need a maintenance background—we’ll train you on our equipment and systems. What you do need is strong computer skills, sharp organizational ability, and the kind of follow-through that means nothing falls through the cracks. Required:
Bilingual English and Spanish — our production floor operates in Spanish, and you’ll communicate daily with technicians and production staff
Proficient in Microsoft Excel — comfortable building spreadsheets, tracking data, and creating reports
Strong computer skills — you learn new software quickly and are comfortable working in cloud-based systems all day
Highly organized with strong follow-through — you track what needs to get done, follow up without being reminded, and close the loop
Problem-solver — you figure things out, ask the right questions, and take initiative
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
Experience with work order systems, scheduling software, or inventory management tools
Background in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments
Purchasing or vendor coordination experience
Any supervisory or team lead experience
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 depending on experience
Insurance: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
Stability: Family-owned company, 35+ years in business, established client base
Structure: Walk into a fully built maintenance system—assets, schedules, and workflows are already in place
Access: Report directly to the owner—your questions get answered and your decisions count
Training: Full training on our equipment, systems, and processes as you get up to speed
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
Within your first three months, you’ll learn our equipment and production flow, take ownership of the maintenance system, and establish your rhythm for managing daily work orders and preventive maintenance. By day 90, leadership should be getting clean reports, technicians should know what’s expected, and nothing should be falling through the cracks.
