Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC)- 2nd shift

Eaton\u0027s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC)- 2nd shift. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility with core hours of 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $40.51/hour + $1.50/hour shift premium per hour. \n\n \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Tear down, determine extent of troubles, repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanism or replace worn or defective parts and reassemble following standard and prescribed safety regulations.\n * Need a basic understanding of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode)\n * Adjust equipment to required specification and check to assure effective operation. \n * Check sequence of machine cycle, determine type of machine malfunction, make all necessary repairs applying machine repair theory along with electrical theory.\n * Perform electrical test operations. \n * Work from complex schematic diagrams, manuals and testing procedures. \n * Troubleshoot all defective printed circuit assembly boards. \n * Perform similar or associated electrical or mechanical duties as directed.\n * Detect and report all unusual cases to proper supervision. \n * Use of judgment to comply with instructions or prescribed routines and to make decisions.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution\n * Journeymen or three (3) years of documented CNC repair maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade\n * Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading\n * Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship. \n\n\n\nRelocation benefit is offered for this position!\n\nPreferred qualifications: \n\n * Four (4) years or more of documented CNC repair maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade preferred\n * Background in machining and electrical equipment\n * Two-year degree in electronics with mechanical experience/Military electronics experience.\n * Experience with hydraulics\n\n\n\nBenefits: \n\u2022 401K Contributions \n\u2022 Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance effective Day 1 \n\u2022 Paid Time Off \u2013 Vacation and Holiday\u2019s \n\u2022 Employee Assistance Program\n\n#IND123 #LI-JW2 \n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
