About Us:

Founded in 1978, Brownswood Nursery has been inspiring people to grow for over four decades. We offer full-service landscaping from plant production to design, installation, and maintenance. As a family-owned company, we’re deeply committed to helping our team members grow in their careers.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of equipment and infrastructure, including:

• Company vehicles (box trucks, golf carts, etc.)


• Power tools and landscaping equipment (generators, Bobcats, tractors, irrigation systems)


• General facilities: roofing, plumbing, screens, fixtures, structural repairs


• Groundskeeping and irrigation systems


• Security and surveillance systems


• Maintaining service logs and safety procedures

You’ll also help with:

• Organizing and maintaining workspaces, tools, and supplies


• Supporting weather-related prep and cleanup (on-call availability during events)


• Assisting with special programs, traffic/parking support, and event setup as needed

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ A self-starter who enjoys fixing things and working with their hands
✔️ Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and professionalism
✔️ Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
✔️ Willingness to give and receive feedback respectfully as part of a team
✔️ Comfortable interacting with staff and occasionally with customers
✔️ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, loading, moving materials)
✔️ Experience with horticulture, facility maintenance, or mechanical repairs is a plus—but not required
