Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance team responsible for ensuring continuous and safe operation of all machinery, equipment, and facilities in a food manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role supports production efficiency, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability. Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance technicians across all shifts to ensure timely completion of work orders
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Maintain equipment logs, inventory, and maintenance records in compliance with OSHA standards
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support equipment reliability
• Order spare parts and manage relationships with vendors and contractors
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and respond to emergency maintenance issues
• Support plant utility systems including refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, and water treatment systems

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
• High school diploma or technical certificate in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or engineering technology
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Knowledge of lean maintenance strategies and continuous improvement principles
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
• OSHA 30-hour certification
