Maintenance Supervisor

• Follow up on preventive maintenance, work orders, and emergency repairs to ensure they are
completed correctly.
• Inspect running equipment and plan repairs for scheduled downtime.
• Work with mechanics individually to help them improve where they have room for growth.
• Support mechanics in their training programs to facilitate their development and promotion.
• Work closely with production supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated
equipment.
• Respond to maintenance calls promptly and arrive prepared to complete the repair.
• Remain visible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible.
• Schedule mechanics and complete payroll submissions.
• Participate in operations shift meetings, safety and food safety meetings, and inspections.
• Maintain a safe working environment in the maintenance shop and on the plant floor.
• Work with a food safety mindset; attention to detail is critical when working on equipment or near
product.
• Provide and maintain personal hand tools (wrench sets, pliers, socket sets, hammers, punches, etc.).
