About the Role Frankston Printing is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee 1st shift operations. This role is essential to maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for 1st shift

• Lead a team of technicians in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance

• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste

• Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment logs, and inventory

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support uptime and quality

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

• Provide weekend coverage as needed for urgent repairs or scheduled projects

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement

• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work weekends as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the printing industry or similar high-speed production environment

• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

• OSHA certification or safety training
