EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance or Technology
OR 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance with a food processing background
Certifications in Sanitary welding, Boiler operation, Wastewater treatment, and Electrical systems beneficial, but not required
Knowledge of Industrial electrical systems, Welding, Boilers, Pneumatics and Hydraulics
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Sitting- to complete a task at lower levels

Crawling- to perform work activities under equipment

Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts, to perform work tasks at lower levels or inside a machine
Twisting- to perform work activities
Pinch- to use tools, to manipulate wires
Grasping/handling- using tools, manipulating parts
Must be able to lift/carry machine parts
Must be able to build and tear down machines in plant environment
Must wear protective/sanitary gear in designated areas of the plant and while doing certain tasks (i.e. hair/beard nets, earplugs, environmental suit, goggles, welding shield.)

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre-requisite program requirements.
