About the Role:

Dr. Squatch is hypergrowth personal care brand making waves across the country and beyond! Our state-of-the-art GMP facility is looking to add a talented Maintenance Supervisor responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical structures on industrial grounds.

This role reports to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager and supports general factory maintenance. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor.

This is a full-time, exempt role with company benefits based out of our Bricc City manufacturing facility in Brea, CA.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $85,000 to $95,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Assign work orders and any PM's
  • Manage and approve time cards for maintenance staff
  • Work closely with maintenance admin for scheduling PMs and work orders
  • Track and monitor PM and work order progress
  • Provide maintenance technicians guidance
  • Work with outside vendors/contractors to ensure company policies are being followed and tasks are completed.
  • Assist technicians with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, projects and any other maintenance task as necessary
  • Work closely with all departments for any maintenance department request or support
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

About You:

  • Is able to embody Dr. Squatch's values- Scrappy, Play to Win, Team Squatch
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Required – 3 years of maintenance supervision or lead experience
  • Required- At least 3 years related experience in electrical work and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required- At least 2 years related experience in general maintenance work and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
  • Able to work weekends and off shifts (as needed)
  • Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift.
  • Able to maintain balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.
  • Must have competent skills using a variety of powered machinery.
  • Safety certifications
  • OSHA 10
  • OSHA Electrical safety training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
  • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
  • Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
  • Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor

  • Frequently exposure to outside weather conditions

  • Continually loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment)
  • Additional remarks regarding work environment - Occasional exposure to skin irritants and flammable materials.
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used - PPE usage is required at all times while on duty.
