What You’ll Do
As a key leader in our maintenance organization, you will:
Drive performance and minimize downtime
Lead all aspects of daily maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Identify root causes of mechanical issues and implement proactive strategies to keep lines running at full capacity.
Lead a high-performing maintenance team
Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to ensure strong technical capabilities and safe work practices.
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support for continuous skill growth.
Optimize equipment reliability
Oversee routine and preventive maintenance, inventory of critical spare parts, and equipment repair processes.
Partner with the Plant Engineer and Safety Director to maintain robust training programs and safety standards.
Build processes that work
Support the ongoing development of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, parts, and equipment history.
Set and maintain key maintenance KPIs including asset utilization, cost management, and preventive maintenance compliance.
Collaborate across departments
Work closely with other supervisors and superintendents to coordinate plant operations and ensure smooth production flow.
Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and service partners.
Champion safety and compliance
Promote a safety-first culture across all maintenance activities.
Participate actively in Safety Management and Risk Management programs to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
What You Bring
Associate degree or technical school training preferred; equivalent experience considered.
At least 3 years of maintenance or related industrial experience.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly desired.
Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to coach and empower people while driving accountability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
