Maintenance Tech

Description

The Maintenance Technician will offer customer service to guests and staff. Properly secure facility common areas and checked out rooms at close of business. Provide security for guests and staff. Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building as well as grounds keeping and repair services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Close and secure main building at the end of business day.
• Removal of trash and linen from common areas by end of shift.
• Patrol grounds and be sure guests are in compliance with the rules.
• Secure vacant rooms.
• Clean resort pools.
• Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up litter; removing snow or debris from walkways and parking lots, painting, and cleaning surrounding landscape.
• Completes special requests by hauling materials to employee’s or clients; moving furniture; setting up furnishings; preparing rooms for occupancy; completing repairs and installing replacement parts.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Equipment operation and Maintenance.
• Facilities Coordination.
• Surveillance Skills.
• Safety Management.
• Ability to lift items and equipment up to 100lbs.
• Time Management.
• Initiative and thoroughness.
• Good Driving History and Valid Driver's License.
• Listens and responds to directions.
• Ability to inform others and offer clear communication skills.
• Some weekend required
• This position schedule is 10am-6:30pm
