The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Batavia is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech

Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $19-$21/HR

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our team! If you have general maintenance knowledge, HVAC, including electrical and plumbing experience, and a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.

  
  


• 
  

  Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.

  
  


• 
  

  Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.

  
  


• 
  

  Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.

  
  


• 
  

  Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

  
  


• 
  

  Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
