Job Description - Maintenance Tech $25+ Per Hour DOE

Maintenance Tech $25+ per hour Day shift
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:

Prevent any and all drips, leaks, and spills that would affect the environment
Be aware of and follow all PPE requirements
Report any unsafe acts/conditions
Maintain a clean and organized shop appearance
Clean up after completing all tasks
Follow and support Safety Management System
Recommend changes to procedures as per preventive action program
Maintain, record, and report inventory of critical equipment and spare parts
Must maintain excellent on-time attendance record
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment
Perform all other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills

Working knowledge of reading measurements, digital, and manual
Working knowledge of common hand tools and manufacturing equipment (drills, pliers, voltage meters, presses, sanders, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written procedures
Cutting and welding skills required

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years experience
Welding Certificate preferred

Day Shift: 7:00am to 4:00pm
Overtime opportunity
Pay: $25+/hr
