MAINTENANCE TECH

Do you enjoy hands on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in a facility located in Nashville. This is an entry/mid- level position with some experience needed. It is a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in a manufacturing environment. SECOND SHIFT - Monday - Friday from 1pm - 9:30pm!!

Responsibilities

Q

ualifications and basic skills include but not limited to:

Ability preform regular services and maintenance procedures, troubleshoot, repair equipment breakdowns, install new equipment.
Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems and production related equipment.
Ensure the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks, excellent troubleshooting skills.
Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
Good familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Knowledge and skill in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, electric.
Must be able to work in hot and damp environment, ability to work non-standard hours/weekends.
Ability to comply with visual standards when working on equipment, processing material.

The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
