Maintenance Tech for Foundry Equipment - NORWICH, KS

**Starting wage is $20/hour, increases with experience**

Shifts/Hours: - Three Shifts Available:

• 1^st shift schedule 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. (LIMITED AVAILABILITY)
• 2^nd shift schedule 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• 3^rd shift schedule 11:00 pm to 7:30 am

Electrical, Electronics, Distribution Panels, Industrial Automation, Interfaces, PLC’s.  If you possess one or more of these skill sets, the Farrar Corporation is hiring within our Foundry maintenance department and wants to speak with you.  You will utilize your skills to maintain our existing equipment as well as maintain new equipment we have recently invested in.  This critical role will receive great pay, benefits, professional development, and the opportunity for internal growth.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactionary maintenance on foundry equipment
• Diagnose and solve problems and issues encountered during troubleshooting
• Empowered to make decisions and requirements and needs within maintenance
• Operation of forklifts and other mobile equipment
• Facility maintenance
• Solving electrical/electronic/PLC issues with relays, sensors, “proxes”, interfaces, and panels
• Working with AC & DC motors, high voltage circuits
• Trouble shooting industrial automation and interfaces
• Working with 3 Phase 480/277, 208/120 and other electrical distributions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing background/environment preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings
• Ability to climb ladders and/or stairways
• Basic understanding of safety in a manufacturing environment
• Strong skills in one or more of:  electronics, electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC’s,
