Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. There is a tremendous amount of growth over the years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and building systems to ensure smooth operations. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Currently need 1st and 2nd shift! 

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and building systems to identify issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
2. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
3. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections. 
6. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
7. Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
8. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
9. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role: specific experience with motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, single phase and three phase electricity, conveyor systems, and production machines
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
4. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Exposure/Interest in areas of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical a plus
5. Proficient in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Interest in developing skills in industrial maintenance, industrial technology, mechanical drawing, math, computer programming, electronics and other related.
10. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and perform tasks in various working conditions. Should possess strong manual dexterity as well.
