Maintenance Technician

Our Florida-based government client seeks Entry-Level Maintenance Technicians to perform essential maintenance tasks under direct supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with minimal or no prior experience in maintenance to gain valuable skills and certifications while contributing to the upkeep and functionality of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of senior staff.
• Assist in routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Operate basic tools and machinery to support maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report progress to supervisors.
• Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials to various work sites as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during job activities.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• License: Valid Class E Drivers License.
• Training: Candidates must complete training and obtain required qualifications as determined by the Department.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and stand or move for extended periods.
