Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is excited to announce an opening for a Maintenance Technician to be locted in our Richland, Missouri! COMC is a Missouri non-profit, federally qualified health center that has served Pulaski, Laclede, Camden and Miller counties for over 40 years. Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of all COMC facilities, grounds, and equipment. This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, addressing repairs, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations across multiple locations.

Facility & Equipment Maintenance
Mobile Units Maintenance (Dental, Medical, Optometry)
Grounds & Environmental Maintenance
Compliance & Safety
General Duties
Completes daily inter-office delivery route, stopping at all clinics to pick up or deliver inter-office items including mail, packages, and laboratory specimens.
Qualifications Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Employees must have valid Missouri CDL license with experience driving large commercial vehicles and the ability to be insured as a covered driver.
Education and/or experience, Skillset: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, mechanical repairs, or related fields; Must possess variety of general skills in electrical, plumbing, landscaping, renovation, carpentry, and automotive skills. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. It requires good eyesight, ability to read, computer skills and physical stamina to lift objects 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or maintenance requests from team members as necessary. The ability to effectively communicate information to management as necessary.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with estimates, basic math skills (i.e., adding, subtracting, percentages) and carpentry measurement skills.
Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Travel Requirements: To fulfill the responsibility of the position with travel to all COMC locations. Employee must have a valid Missouri CDL license and ability to be insured as a covered driver.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating on call schedule for evenings and weekends. Must have the ability to be flexible as there will be some evenings and weekends that maintenance items or emergency work orders will need to take place.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Knowledge of, and compliance with, HIPAA and 340B regulations is required. Confidentiality of patient information is mandatory.
