Maintenance Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, functionality, and safety of our equipment and facilities. This hands-on position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance on various shop and field equipment. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional with excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive attitude toward maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
•    Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
•    Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as air compressors, forklifts, overhead cranes, vehicles, and facility systems.
•    Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues.
•    Disassemble and reassemble machinery to access difficult areas for maintenance.
•    Operate forklifts to move equipment and materials as needed.
•    Load and unload parts and supplies manually or with lifting equipment.
•    Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
•    Perform general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, carpentry, painting, and minor plumbing.
•    Ensure housekeeping standards are met and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
•    Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
•    Remain available for overtime, weekend, or evening work as required.

Qualifications and Skills
•    High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in HVAC, maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
•    Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance or technician role preferred.
•    Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
•    Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in various environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).
•    Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Forklift operation experience preferred.
