Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Director with day to day activities as well as taking on-call duties every other week.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responds to all work order requests and completes to facility standards.
2. Completes aesthetic improvement plans both inside and outside the building that includes but not limited to painting, including touch-up painting, staining woodwork, drywall repairs, and minor building repairs.
3. Provides hands on repairs on an as needed basis to ensure a pro-active approach to all maintenance activities.
4. Performs janitorial duties as needed to ensure cleanliness of building.
5. Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, vendors, families, and employees.
6. Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits always.
7. Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
8. Knows, understands, and follows established policies and procedures in emergency situations.
9. Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude about work issues, policies, and procedures always.
10. Maintains grounds, building and out buildings.
11. Performs all duties as needed to make apartments ready for new tenants.
11. Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.
