Role Overview:
The Maintenance Technician ensures smooth, uninterrupted production by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and handling facility repairs. This hands-on role is vital to minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment in our high-volume food facility. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment (mixers, conveyors, ovens, refrigeration).
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
• Monitor and document equipment performance, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance equipment efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and food safety standards.
• Support additional projects and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance, preferably in food production.
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

The employee must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.  The employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods of time, work in varying environments (hot, cold, noisy), and be comfortable climbing ladders and performing physical tasks.
