Maintenance Technician

Summary 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting issues with production equipment, performing routine maintenance, and installing new machinery. This position plays a key role in ensuring the ongoing productivity of the plant.

Key Duties and Essential Job Functions

· Perform routine maintenance on production machinery. 

· Respond to line calls in the plant.

· Install new production equipment.

· Troubleshoot issues with machinery as they arise.

· Any other tasks or duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience

· Experience with tig welding stainless steel and fabrication

· Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues

· Complete adherence to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Prior experience in the food industry preferred, but not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 2nd Shift - 2:15pm - 10:30pm
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Maintenance: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Grand Rapids, MI 49544 (Required)
