CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is ($20-25) for entry level. The benefit includes eligibility to participate in 1 of 3 different BCBS of IL medical plans, Dental (SunLife) Vision (EyeMed), Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) with a generous 6% match on a 6% contribution, 11 Paid Holidays, 5 paid Sick Days (based on a full year of employment). Job Title–Maintenance Technician

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties in maintenance to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, planned maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.   For this position we need jack of all trades but someone that is strong in HVAC.  

Essential Job Functions:

1. Maintenance mechanic will perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

3. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility equipment.

Requirements

Basic Requirements: 

1. Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience;

2. An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus;

3. 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
