The Maintenance Technician will aid the company in upkeeping the facility and equipment. This position will be responsible for monitoring and repairing machinery and tools, as well as daily maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Monitor commonly used machines and tools for needed repairs or upgrades

Requirements

• Minimum of one year maintenance or related experience.
• Able to work around a busy environment and be flexible to changing needs.
• Experience working with and repairing CNC routers is a plus
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC fixes
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools and devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
