Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time job based in Elkwood, VA.
$30-33 per hour + OT + great benefits!
Monday - Friday Day Shift in the Truss and Panel plant.

Maintenance Tech with strong organizational skills to lead the team to perform facility and routine and complex servicing and rebuilding of production machinery and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of your team are:

Troubleshoot and servicing production machinery and equipment, including basic gear shift, to grease to pully shafts to saws…We will teach you welding, we will train you on electrical, we want someone how wants to learn, with a great attitude to learn Maintenance, air handling, hydraulic, valves, circuits, and pumps; ensures that preventative maintenance programs are performed.

Performs more complex rebuilding of machinery and equipment when more extensive maintenance is required and order the correct part when needed.

Troubleshoots machinery and equipment malfunctions and replaces defective parts; may recommend equipment replacement if it determines sufficient wear to potentially cause safety or reliability problems. We have the Kawasaki mule so you don’t have to walk all around and find your tools

Requirements:

Must have at least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

$30-33 per hour + OT + great benefits!
