Maintenance Technician – FULL TIME– Charlottesville

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, carpentry and construction in the maintenance and repair of the Credit Union's facilities and equipment. The position will review, triage, and address concerns related to credit union owned/leased properties. Tasks will be performed at the direction of the position's supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of properties
• Assist with the maintenance, testing and monitoring of Physical Security Systems including Access Controls, CCTV Systems and Alarm System
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs in a timely manner
• Field calls from staff regarding maintenance issues
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols.
• Share on-call responsibilities with other Maintenance Team members May be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as the Credit Union needs dictate.

Qualifications: 

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC Systems required
