Maintenance Technician

Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of all warehouse equipment, and facility infrastructure. This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and performing mechanical,  or general facility repairs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. 

Schedule:  Wednesday-Saturday 4pm to finish | Overtime as required

Pay: DOE 

Responsibilities: 

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime. 
• Conduct facility inspections and identify safety and maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations and management to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Keep maintenance tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good condition.

Requirements

Experience:

• Maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment. 
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. 
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when required.
• Tolerance for cold temperatures inside the warehouse.
