Job Summary
Carriage Manor Resort is seeking a Property Maintenance / Pool Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be required to have or obtain a pool operator’s license thru Maricopa County. You will need to be able to work independently, completing work orders, performing property maintenance as well as other assigned tasks throughout the community. Duties include daily cleaning, checking, and managing the community pool and equipment as well as rebuilding pool pumps. Property Maintenance on common areas, Community Clubhouse, and buildings. Small plumbing, electrical, irrigation, painting, lighting, and other functions of building operations. this is a fulltime position with hours that support the Resort. Typical maintenance hours are M-F 4:30am - 1:30pm. This is a rotating on-call position and does include a few weekend hours. Operate and maintain the required equipment. Assist with water leak repairs throughout the Resort. Perform other maintenance duties may include event set-up, painting, minor electrical, plumbing, pool cleaning/maintenance etc. Ultimately, your goal is to keep the resort common areas beautiful and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of lawn care/landscaping and the ability to work both independently and as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning, monitoring and managing the community pool and equipment as well as rebuilding pool pumps
- Repairs to resort equipment
- Small plumbing electrical, and irrigation repairs
- Building repairs
- As well as some general landscaping requirements
- Maintain clean streets and pathways throughout resort
- Daily clean-up of the maintenance shop
- Ensures tools and equipment is clean and ready for next day's use.
- Consults with Physical Properties Foreman when supplies are needed, and special equipment needs to be ordered.
- Performs other work assigned by Manager.
- Persons in the Department must have a general knowledge of safety procedures and equipment pertinent to the work.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with equipment and machinery
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Knowledge of general maintenance knowledge required
- Clean driving record with valid license
- Background check
- Drug test required
