Maintenance Technician

Description

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience with packaging equipment, machine & equipment repairs, completion of work orders as assigned, maintaining equipment through preventative maintenance, anticipate and recognizing safety and production issues, grounds and utility systems and travel to multiple facilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

• Basic welding and fabricating 
• Basic plumbing troubleshooting and repair
• Commercial refrigeration troubleshooting and repair
• Industrial electrical 240,380 and 480 3phase
• PLC and Controls troubleshooting
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license required.
• Experience with packaging equipment and automated conveyors system
• Strong mechanical aptitude 
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills 
• Good conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Flexile and adaptable to various work environments including temperature fluctuations

Preferred

Technical school certification or 3-5 years’ equivalent work experience 

Low pressure boiler experience
