Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Location: J3 Properties | Department: Facilities & Maintenance

We’re seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Maintenance Technician who thrives on solving problems, staying organized, and providing top-tier service. If you’re ready to take ownership of your work and make a visible impact, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

General Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine inspections of all properties and systems
• Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, and structural systems
• Keep buildings and grounds in top condition according to company standards
• Respond to tenant repair requests promptly and professionally 

Landscaping & Grounds keeping

• Perform landscaping and grounds keeping duties
• Ensure exterior areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained 

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Coordinate subcontractors for specialized work as needed
• Manage tasks from assigned lists and follow through to completion
• Take initiative on projects and assist team members as needed

Requirements

Experience

• Two years of experience performing professional property management, maintenance, and landscaping work, is familiar with a variety of building systems, including plumbing, irrigation, electrical, and heating systems, and maintains the interdisciplinary skills needed to keep commercial properties looking clean, professional, and safe. Competency  in safe operations power tool

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure

• Valid Drivers License, Clean DMV Record required

Special Skills

• Required: ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 25-30 pounds. Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Teams. Capacity to safely work at heights above 8 feet.
