Maintenance Technician

We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. • Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices
• Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness.
• Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation.
• Support corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance program at local facility
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Identify dull tooling and replace as necessary.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
• Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.

Education and/or Work Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance machine operations, facility maintenance, and maintenance for high volume conveying systems, etc.

• Experience in Pneumatic and Milling Tool Repair and Troubleshooting.
