Job Description - Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician

We have a great Full-Time opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our awesome Facility Services Team! This individual provides a wide range of maintenance services to all residents throughout the facility. The ideal Maintenance Technician possesses an overall comfort level with general maintenance, specializing in HVAC and/or kitchen equipment. This position plays an integral role in sustaining, maintaining, and improving, the overall performance of the Facility Services Department.

Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30am-8:00pm

Compensation: $20-$25/hour, dependent upon experience

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Prioritizing and completing work order requests while providing the highest level of customer service possible
Performing basic plumbing, HVAC, painting, and/or carpentry tasks
Troubleshooting and when possible, resolving electrical issues including, breakers switchgear, lighting, and other related work
Troubleshooting and when possible, resolving HVAC issues including such things as air handlers, heating systems, domestic water systems, chillers and compressors, energy recovery units, and other related work
Performing installations and repairs to faucets, showers, drains, toilets and grease traps

Qualifications:

High School Diploma OR GED equivalent preferred
College, vocational, or trade school training certificate in building maintenance or equivalent a plus
2+ years’ experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing preferred, but not required
Licensed or willing to be licensed as a small water system operator
