Duties and responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician Position should have a foundational understanding of plumbing and electrical systems, in addition to carpentry and other trades. This individual should also be versed in health and safety regulations, reporting, and budgeting. Day to day responsibilities include the following.

The Maintenance Technician is expected to perform the following duties:

• Works with the Maintenance Director on all installation, repair and upkeep operations of Golden Pond Facilities
• Remodeling of individual units
• Help move residents items (furniture) in and out of the building and set up rooms
• General Plumbing Skills
• General Carpentry Skills
• General Electrical Skills
• Painting
• Clean Windows
• Shampoo Carpets
• Vehicle and machinery maintenance.
• Water heater maintenance
• Fire Drills
• Preventative Maintenance
• Snow and Ice removal
• Pond Maintenance
• Outdoor and Indoor lighting
• Attend and participate in scheduled leadership meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
