Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our expanding production facility. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining and improving the infrastructure and equipment essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work, with a strong ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment including CNC machinery and overhead cranes. This technician will also help support department growth by building custom solutions as operational needs evolve.

This role is based at our Cambridge, Ohio location and is a fully onsite position. This is a temporary position with a 6-month duration and the potential to evolve into a regular position.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and hoist systems.
• Perform general maintenance and light repairs on CNC machines, including troubleshooting, part replacement, and preventative upkeep.
• Install and maintain compressed air lines and related equipment.
• Fabricate brackets, stands, carts, and other custom solutions to support operational efficiency and department expansion.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance across facility systems, including lighting, HVAC, and electrical panels.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand departmental needs and deliver customized support solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Manage and document maintenance activities, material use, and service records accurately.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or CNC-heavy environment.
• Proficient in crane system installation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machines (basic electrical and mechanical).
• Skilled in metal fabrication, including MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and assembly.
• Working knowledge of air systems and pneumatic line installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and safety codes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
