Maintenance Technician

Energy North Inc. (Haffner's, Mobil, Gulf stations) is seeking a highly motivated maintenance technician to join our growing company. Responsibilities will include both preventative maintenance tasks and on demand repairs. We offer a flexible schedule with a suite of benefits available. You’ll be working alone and with other team members in our stores and properties to keep them in tip-top condition. Uniforms, tools, boots, and a company phone are provided at hire and company vehicle after probationary period

Job Summary:

This job includes, but not limited to general building repairs and maintenance (drywall, painting, trim, etc.), door & lock repair/replacement, minor plumbing & electrical as well as other carpentry tasks. Maintaining our parking lots and grounds is also a priority. Experience with gas station equipment a plus but not required. You’ll also be working with the convenience store systems (refrigeration, kitchen, food display equipment, etc.).

Proficiency in most common power and hand tools, minor electrical & plumbing work and basic HVAC operation is required, (gas station operation is preferred).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections of all buildings.
• Maintenance and repair of properties and grounds as needed and assigned.
• Respond to urgent calls in a timely fashion.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks on a schedule.
• Communicate and follow-up on repair needs.
• Limited on call availability required.

Required Skills:

• General building repair experience. (1-3 years).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and electronic.
• Good follow through skills.
• Ability to work alone or with others.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach and lift.
