Maintenance Technician

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing a variety of services nationwide. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.

Responsibilities

· Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, and general repairs.

· Conduct minor repairs on client appliances and equipment.

· Identify and report any major maintenance needs or safety hazards.

· Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests.

· Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.

· Maintain cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas, including parking lots and walkways.

· Provide clients with guidance and support regarding equipment upkeep.

Compensation & Schedule

· Pay: $20.00 per hour (bi-weekly pay).

· Shift: 1st shift – Weekends plus 3 weekdays (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM).

Requirements

· Two valid forms of ID.

· Previous experience is preferred.

· Reliable transportation to commute to work.

· Have steel toe boots to wear at work.

· Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

· Availability to start working as soon as possible.
