Emory Valley Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to play a hands-on role in supporting our mission: enhancing lives, promoting independence, and upholding the dignity of children, adults, and families throughout our service area.

• Fulltime, Hourly, Non-exempt
• Onsite, Inperson
• Starting Rate of Pay $16.50

What You’ll Do:

• Jump into action to resolve maintenance and vehicle concerns, ensuring safe, reliable operations every day.
• Tackle everything from emergency vehicle repairs to routine facility upkeep, supporting the comfort and safety of those we serve.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team—no two days are the same!
• Coordinate with managers and departments, organize event setups, and keep our spaces looking their best—all while fostering relationships.
• Keep thorough records, follow budgets, and maintain the standards that make Emory Valley Center a leader in our field.
• Use your attention to detail to complete documentation, protect privacy, and ensure compliance at every step.

• Experienced—at least two years of hands-on maintenance work, with a high school diploma (or equivalent) - certifications are a plus!
• Reliable and safety-conscious, with a valid Tennessee driver’s license and strong driving record.
• Detail-oriented, able to lift 50 lbs, with basic computer and repair skills.
• A team player and a self-starter, thriving both on your own and with others across departments.
• Respectful and compassionate, with an understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Eager to grow and make each day a little better for everyone around you.
