About the Role:

We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Van Buren facility by ensuring our equipment and systems run reliably, safely, and efficiently. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our manufacturing process strong. From preventive maintenance to troubleshooting to urgent repairs.

You’ll work independently and as part of a team to diagnose issues, keep detailed records, and help implement long-term improvements across our operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Schedule Options:

  • Work a 2-2-3 schedule to give you the perfect work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems on food processing and packaging equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime
  • Perform equipment resets, PC/PLC reboots, and system calibrations
  • Interpret technical documents, including wiring schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals
  • Support plant safety through strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE use, Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, and Arc Flash protocols
  • Assist with building systems, including electrical panels, fire suppression, and chillers
  • Document work using CMMS tools and communicate status across shifts
  • Participate in team-driven improvements using TPM/Lean tools and root-cause analysis

What We Offer:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance beginning the 1st of the month after 30 days
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with 100% company match on contributions up to 10%
  • 3 weeks paid time off in your first year
  • Generous tuition reimbursement
  • A safe, respectful, and high-performance work culture

Second Chances Start Here:

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing proudly supports second-chance hiring. A past conviction or pending charge does not automatically disqualify you. We evaluate all candidates fairly considering timing, relevance, and responsibility. Just be transparent during the process.

Employment and hiring decisions are made based on business need, job requirements, and individual qualifications—without regard to race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws.
