Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose
To assist and support the team lead in the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and grounds keeping of multi unit, dual site facility.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Prioritize and conduct assigned project/scheduled and/ or preventive and or reactive based maintenance work to be performed,
• Conduct the assigned work utilizing the pertinent resources, materials, tools, and machinery/equipment required,
• Conduct inspection of resources, materials, tools, and machinery/equipment as well as post job/activity inspections to ensure adherence to specified standards and quality,
• Adhere to and promote team timelines according to project plans and team goals,
• Adhere to and promote the application of Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements,
• Adherence and promotion of the principles of safe working practices regarding machinery/equipment, tools, and materials,
• Conduct basic troubleshooting techniques and procedures,
• Relevant and additional identified duties required as assigned and/or scheduled.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent, technical degree, AS in technology studies, and a desire to work as a part of a team.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors: General Competencies
• Knowledge and Skill – Previous Mechanical, HVAC, Carpentry, Electric, and Construction equipment and tool experience preferred (Will train some attributes for candidates with some experience)

Physical Requirements
Able to sit, stand, walk, carry 50-75lbs, while working minimally a 8 hour shift. Must have tolerance to heat and cold, all weather conditions, noise, and able to perform duties under high stress situations.
