Maintenance Technician

• Complete facility work and service order requests or turns in a timely manne
• Handles emergency service calls on a rotational basis.
• Ensures all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Completes seasonal task such as assisting with pool maintenance or snow removal during inclement weather.
• Respond to and make all necessary repairs for our retail locations
• General maintenance of common areas
• Perform preventive maintenance around the properties
• Perform, maintain and track work orders
• Carpentry / HVAC / plumbing / light electrical / drywall / appliance installation
• Be available for on call during emergencies

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualified applicants will have achieved a high school degree or equivalent and have at least two (2) years of previous residential apartment or facilities management experience required or combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, tile and flooring work
• Must have their own basic tools
• Physical requirements: some lifting, walking stairs, moving appliances, etc.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail needed.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills needed.
• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Work schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
